A learning arc from wonder to wisdom.

Three progressive stages from Nursery to Grade 8, one CBSE spine, and a promise that no child is left anonymous.

01 · Our Approach

Learning is a dynamic process, and every child learns differently.

That simple belief shapes everything we do. Our teachers design learning experiences that embrace different learning styles, nurture individual strengths, and give every child the time and space to grow. Learning extends beyond textbooks into laboratories, gardens, creative spaces, and the stage, because children learn best when they explore, experiment, express, and experience. What they discover for themselves stays with them far longer than what they simply memorise. CBSE is taught for mastery, so what is learnt in June is still there in March.

We follow the CBSE curriculum throughout, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, enriched with the SRM network's own frameworks: KASH for character, STREAM for integrated learning, and ASPIRE for values. English is the medium of instruction. Tamil and Hindi are offered as additional languages.

02 · The Three Stages

One arc, three stages.

Follow the paper plane from first rhymes to future ready learners.

Nursery to UKG · Ages 3 to 5

Pre Primary

The early years are a time to explore, discover, and grow. Through playful activities, hands on experiences, stories, and creative expression, children develop early language, number skills, thinking abilities, and confidence at their own pace. With caring teachers and a joyful learning environment, we make every day an opportunity to wonder, try something new, and fall in love with learning. The Experience Station, a miniature town with a hospital, a police station, a fire station, and a supermarket, lets the youngest learners work out, in play, how a community holds together.

Primary School

Foundations are poured here, and we pour them deep. Language, mathematics, and environmental science are taught for mastery, not coverage, with STREAM projects connecting subjects to the real world from the very first grade. The Innovation Lab, a research station and STEM maker bench sized for small hands, is often the first place a learner builds something that really works. Reading is treated as a daily ritual, and every classroom keeps its own library shelf.

Grades 6 to 8 · Ages 11 to 13

Middle School

The stretch years. Smart classrooms carry every subject, the mechatronics and drone labs open their doors for real building and real flying, and our enrichment programme stretches the students who are ready to run ahead. From Grade 8, our foundation programme introduces learners to the joy of logical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and scientific exploration, building strong academic foundations while keeping curiosity, creativity, and the joy of childhood at the heart of learning.

03 · Future Ready Learning

Beyond the syllabus, before the world asks.

Two signature laboratories anchor a programme that reaches past the textbook, so curiosity always has somewhere to go.

Mechatronics Lab

Robotics, sensors, and code. Ideas get built here, tested here, and rebuilt here, with cheerful failure on the way to working prototypes.

Drone Lab

Design, fly, and map. Aerodynamics becomes something a learner holds, launches, and steers, and the campus becomes their test range.

04 · Assessment Philosophy

Assessment that informs. Feedback that empowers.

Continuous assessment tracks concepts as they are learned, and report cards speak to character as plainly as to marks. Results travel to parents quickly and honestly, with a teacher's note on what happens next. A mark, on its own, is a number. A mark with a plan is progress.

05 · Our Faculty

Recognising potential. Nurturing progress.

At SRM Public School, we believe great teachers never stop learning. Our teachers are carefully selected for their approach, commitment, and passion for teaching, and are supported through continuous professional development, training, and pedagogical guidance through the SRM Teacher Academy. By constantly refining their skills and exploring better teaching practices, our teachers ensure that learning evolves with every passing year, creating richer, more meaningful experiences for every child.
